The Department of Electrical And Electronics Engineering at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management was established in the year 2005 with a vision to impart quality education and provide competent professionals to fulfill the needs of industry and society in global perspective for sustainable development of industry and society. The Department aims to foster students to attain professional excellence by imparting them necessary soft skills and technical knowledge. From household to industrial plants, communication, satellite navigation systems, electronic equipment and computers etc. require electricity so Electrical and Electronics Engineering is always an evergreen discipline in terms of scope and career perspective.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering being the interdisciplinary branch of Engineering takes focus in technical research and programming methodology to analyze and create solutions to complex engineering problems of the domain. The Department has well-equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art hardware and software resources, lecture halls, seminar halls, tutorial rooms and faculty cabins. The Department consists of well experienced, qualified as well as young faculty members who also work as mentors to the equally diligent and hardworking students.

The Department offers four years Bachelor’s Degree Program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an intake of 30. The Department conducts various Seminars, guest lectures, workshops, summer training and certifications from reputed groups in accordance to industry demand.
Several fortune industries such as UNO Mindaa, C&S, UHG, Capgemini, Wipro, Rane-Group, Evertech India Pvt. Ltd, Tech Mahindra, IBM , Mohan Energy Corporation Pvt. Ltd. and many more visit our campus for campus recruitments and end up with good amount of student signing up for these groups..
The Degree program is spread over four years with two semesters in each year. Students study various theory courses and perform experiments as per AKTU Syllabus. The first year of engineering is common to all disciplines. The students learn various courses such as Basic System Analysis, Electro-Mechanical Energy Conversion, Electrical Measurement & Measuring Instruments, Network Analysis and Synthesis in Second Year of Engineering. In the Third Year students study subjects like Elements of Power System, Power Electronics, Control System and carry out minor projects in groups of two or three and also present Seminar on recent research going on in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In the Fourth Year of engineering students study both departmental core and elective courses and carry out projects in groups of 2/4 based on current technological challenges of Electrical and Electronics domain.
