CII conducts Cost Reduction Session at G.L. Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida on 30th May 09 In the recessionary times of global meltdown industry now a day are reducing cost incurred under various head to increase profits. Most of the times it is seen that whenever a company tries to reduce cost, the quality tends to decrease which finally affect the end customer. Though the company might have good profits in the beginning but it might loose upon its good customers because of the compromise that it has done in the quality of the product. At CII we believe that the profit can increase if we look at reducing cost in the existing system without compromising on the quality of the product. With this in view Confederation Of Indian Industry Western UP Zonal Council along with G.L. Bajaj Institute of Management & Research organized a workshop on Cost Reduction By 3W& 1H(Why, When, Where & How) for the industries of western UP at Greater Noida today. The workshop was well attended by over 20 Representative from Industries such as Minda Corporation, Jackson Engineering, Olympic Zippers, PME Transformers, Crystal Hues, Siam & Many More. Mr. Pankaj Agarwal Vice-Chairman of G.L. Bajaj Institute has appreciated the efforts made by the CII to make the corporate people cost conscious in such a global economic meltdown.
