Todays Scenario

We are glad to share with all that DMS commenced the formal Induction Programme for 12th batch of MBA in second semester today. This is a total eight days programme including five day intensive interaction including industry & Academia scheduled from 30th Jan to 3rd Feb 2018. This programme entail of a series of intellectual, motivational speakers and corporate ambassadors interacting, networking and sharing tips and tricks with our students which are essential to make a mark in the corporate world. We welcome all students to Industry Academia Leadership Symposium –Series 5 (IALS-18). Series 5 of IALS had a discussion on “Contemporary ways of Learning” and guest for the session was Prof. Sanjiva Shankar Dubey, Adjunct Professor and head of IT at BIMTECH, Greater Noida. With more than 30 years of corporate experience with brands like TATA group & IBM, Prof. Dubey is an accomplished Practicing Academician contributing largely into the field of academics and research. He has delivered his knowledge and experience at distinguished institutions and Business schools including XLRI, IIMs, BIMTECH, IMI and IMT Ghaziabad. He has authored 9 books in IT and management. Prof. Dubey enlightened us with contemporary methods and modes on learning through online applications, flipped classrooms and self-learning technologies. The development of the Internet has enabled sophisticated Web-based systems in education providing a wide variety of educational and learning support systems to students and teachers contributing to higher education. Enquiry, self-direction, and connectivity are at the core of modern learning and cognitive development. Our students learned greatly from his knowledge and experience. They interacted and clarified their doubts regarding the use of various online learning platforms and how they can more utilize these open sources much to their benefits.
