This lecture will acquaint participants with different aspects of strategic thinking and scenario planning. The strategic thinking component will address various aspects of strategy formulation and types of strategies, and introduce learners to various strategic analysis tools. The lecture will introduce frameworks to enable strategy execution, and also address challenges related to strategy execution. The scenario planning component will enable participants to identify possible scenarios that could emerge in the future and develop likely situations under different assumptions/scenarios.
