Abstract:

In the present era, research and development in the field of information technology and Electronics Engineering has subsided the research in the fields related to Mechanical Engineering. The economy of a developing nation like India lies in growth of its manufacturing sector. The ICCEMME-2017 will provide a platform for researchers to present their research work in the areas of Design, Production, Thermal and Industrial Engineering. These areas together constitute the root for manufacturing sector. The core team of the ICCEMME-2017 is willing to create a pool of conference advisors of renowned industries and institutions from India and abroad. The group of advisors will not only guide the conference through their research skills but also share their industrial experience to the contributors of the conference.

Relevance:

The ICCEMME-2017 has been primarily planned and designed to relate:

1. The need of automotive sector to promote the importance of cost effective design so as to satisfy the consumer needs at low costs. Frequent change in design not only increases the cost of the batch, also lowers the productivity. An insight approach in design can modify the aesthetics and features of the automobile without much of the alteration in the manufacturing facility.

2. Promotion of research in the field of Industrial Engineering, as often an ill planned layout proves to be very costly and causes slackness in the operations. An insight research in industrial engineering will smartly place the resources which can accommodate the changes in the process and design easily.

3. Promotion of research in the field of thermodynamics to minimize the emissions and maximize the fuel efficiency of engines. With this extensive research in heat and mass transfer can promote the ideation of energy efficient buildings.
