Online Session on Angel Investment/VC funding Opportunities for Early stage Entrepreneurs

Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, GLBITM organized an Expert talk on "Angel Investment/VC funding Opportunities for Early stage Entrepreneurs” dated 23/08/2023 (3:00pm onwards). The speaker of the event was Mr. Sachin Sahni, President of TiE, Lucknow. The objective of the event is to enlighten students and faculties aboutAngel Investment/VC Funding Opportunity for Early Stage Entrepreneurs. To make them understand about the key factors that make a start-up fundable from investor’s point of view.
Expert discussed about 9 key factors that make a start-up fundable from investor’s point of view. He discussed about some common factors that VCs consider when evaluating startups for investment. He conversed about the points needed to build strong and capable team, market potential, unique value proposition, traction & growth potential, sustainable business model, competitive advantages, scalability & global reach, clear exit strategy and fit with VC’s investment thesis.
Some students discussed about their early stage startups with him. The session was very interactive. At the end, Ms. Deepti Dohare, Co-coordinator, Institute Innovation Cell (IIC), G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida addressed vote of thanks.
