time. One of the most prominent being a 3day International Seminar on “Changing Scenario of Services Marketing in the Era of Globalization”. The seminar was inaugurated on the 24th of February 2005, by distinguished guests like, Prof. D.S. Chauhan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, UP Technical University, Lucknow and Mr. Harsev Singh, Director (Operations), Mahaan Proteins Ltd. Mathura.
Orientation Programme:
On the very first day, an orientation programme for the news students was held to acquaint them about the college culture. The director, Dean and faculty members spoke about the future prospects of engineering and encouraged the students.
Deepawali Pooja:
Diwali the festival of lights was celebrated at GLBITM.The function started with traditional lakshmi Pooja and all members were presented with a gift.
Vishwakarma Pooja:Vishwakarma Pooja was celebrated modestly, where in the chairman, faculty members staff members
and lab technicians offered their Pooja and sought the Almighty’s blessings.

Challenge 2009
An exuberant event titled “CHALLENGE-2009” was organized atGLBITM on Saturday, the 7th Feb 2009. The mega event included a string of Cultural, Curricular and Sports activities like Rangoli, Solo Singing, Dance, Math Olympiad, Essay writing, Slogan Writing, laughter challenge, Face painting, Poster Making, Chess, Badminton etc.
Basand Panchami
Basant Panchami, the Festival of spring was celebrated at GLBITM on 31st Jan 2009.
The Students recited Saraswati Vandana and offered their prayers to the deity of Knowledge and wisdom.
The Ceremony brought together all the faculty members’ non-teaching staff and students alike.
Seminar on AUTO CAD
A seminar was organized by G L Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management on 30th January 2009.The event was entitled “Introduction to Engineering Drawing and AUTO CAD”-a discussion on Isometric views, Orthographic projections, use of Engineering drawing in Manufacturing, Product development & Design and Essential skills required by the students to design.

‘Techno Kriti’09
Annual Technical Fest ‘Techno Kriti’09 ” which is an Inter college festival was organized at GLBITM from 4th to 6th March 2009. Techno Kriti in its journey as a three-day festival aimed at grooming and giving the students a platform to present their talents and to foster healthy competition among students. Student teams from other colleges like Galgotias, NIET, Sky Line, and IMLwere also a part of the annual fest.
The events conducted during this Tech Fest are: Lan Gaming (Inter – College); Robotika (Inter - College); Contrive Paper Presentation; Working Model Creation; Volley ball; Solo Dancing; Rangoli; Alarming Aptitude; Coding & Debugging; 9x9 Sudoku; Puzzling Puzzles; Brain Teaser Crosswords.
HR Conclave 2009
G.L. Bajaj Institute of Management and Research organized HR Conclave on January 09, 2009. The theme of the HR Conclave was “HR Intervention in the Era of Recession”. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Mr Amitabh Nangia, Managing Director, Tricolite and Chairman CII, UP state. Mr. Deepak Malik, MD, Continental Carbon was the Guest of Honor and Mr. Daman Dev Sood, Vice President, Steria was the Key Note Speaker of the occasion. Top-level corporate executives, renowned educationists and students from different institutions of NCR participated in this conclave.
National Seminar G.L. Bajaj organized a seminar on “Engineering industries in India; challenges and opportunities”. On 25th April Saturday 2009.
The objective of the seminar was to discuss the opportunities & challenges faced by engineers in India, in this recession period. To make students aware about the green jobs in the market and how to grab those Opportunity.
