Voter ID Card Registration Campaign 2024

On February 22, 2024, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management hosted a Voter ID Card Registration Campaign on its campus. The event aimed to facilitate voter registration for students, empowering them to exercise their democratic rights. Two Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) officials were present to oversee the process.
Voting is a fundamental right and a cornerstone of democracy. By participating in the registration campaign, students actively contributed to the democratic process. Their voter IDs will enable them to cast their ballots in local, state, and national elections.
To complete the voter registration process, students were required to submit the following documents:
1.Aadhaar Card: As proof of identity and address.
2.College ID Card: To verify their enrollment at the institute.
3.Signature: A signature sample for official records.
4.Passport Size Photo: For the voter ID card.

The successful registration of approximately 67 students demonstrates the institute’s commitment to civic engagement and encourages responsible citizenship. By collaborating with SDM officials, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management played a vital role in empowering its student community.
