The Department of Master of Computer Applications at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management started in the year 2006 with a vision “To become a center of repute and developing computer professionals who can respond to social and global challenges”. The Department focuses on the attainment of professional excellence by providing acquaintance with new IT tools and technologies. The branch of Master of Computer Applications focuses on the scientific research, scientific programming, Application programming, software testing and software engineering. The Department has well-furnished laboratories with contemporary hardware and software resources, lecture halls, seminar halls, tutorial rooms and faculty sections.

The Department offers

The Department offers two years Master’s Degree Program in Computer Applications with an intake of 180. The Department also focuses on the emergings technologies and application developments by organizing various seminars, guest lectures, workshops, summer training and certifications from reputed groups in accordance to the demand of the IT Industry.

The department is a proud record holder of University results as well as placements in industries. The Department also holds the record of best placement percentage in the college till date. Several fortune 500 IT industries such as IBM, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, KPIT, virtusa, prolifics and Webkul, Anhad Edutrain Solutions, XOR Labs, MAQ Software, Tavent Technologies, Brick Red Technologies many more visit our campus for campus recruitments and end up with good amount of student signing up for these groups. Several alumni of the Department are working at key positions in industries in India and abroad in fortune companies such as …………… etc.
