We are glad to share with all that Department of Management Studies, GL Bajaj organized One Day Workshop on “Corporate Employability Skills” in collaboration with CEGR. Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR) is an independent think tank dedicated towards qualitative, innovative and employability-enhancing education, preparing the next generation as future leaders.

Our Chief Guest for the event was Dr.Manpreet Singh Manna, Director – AICTE & Mentor- CEGR. Dr. Manna has been very close to research and academics as he is a Senior Member of IEEE and has disseminated his knowledge through teaching at various occasions. He has been a true inspiration by his endless contribution to the education system of India. Dr. Manna was also with the “COMMENDATION AWARD” by Hon'ble Prsident Shri Pranab Mukherjee during the Launch of “SWAYAM Platform” which is one of the important digital initiatives of the Government of India and aims to to bridge the digital divide for students. Dr. Manna has been conferred with numerous accolades including ‘Bharat Excellence Award' with 'Gold Medal' by the Former Election Commissioner of India in 2014. Dr. Manna is also recipient of ‘Shreshth Aacharya Award-2011’, and ‘Best Citizens of India Award-2014’ from FFI. The Guest of Honour for the event included Mr.VishalSehgal, Managing Director, Nischay Educorp & an alumnus of Harvard University, USA and Mr.SanjivGoswami, Manageing Director, Springer Nature India.

In today's competitive day and age, employabilitity skills have become need of the hour and are the foundation of your career building blocks. This workshop definitely acquainted our student with the necessary life skills which are equally important as soft skills to success in the corporate world.
