A. INVESTOR'S DILEMMA!
The very first edition of “INVESTOR’S DILEMMA” event cum competition was organized on 11th August 2017 at G.L. Bajaj institute of technology and management in Greater Noida U.P India by EEE Department GL Bajaj. This event has been first of its kind in the college. The event attracted attendees from all the branches and created a forum of discussion and knowledge . The event was technically supported by IEEE young professionals of IEEE U.P. Section. This event was very well attended; it received positive feedbacks, encouraging responses and comments after the programme, around 200 participants attended this programme. It seemed most of the attendees were in fact waiting for an event like this. The event was managed professionally, it started and finished dot on time.
This event was designed to develop in individual the perspective of an investor. Inculcates the ability to evaluate the potential of a startup by making you play the role of an investor. Helps you to be better prepared when an investor bombards both valid and invalid questions at you. Helps you analyze your own venture from a new perspective.
This event was also comprised of talks from experienced IEEE professionals with focused sessions and opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, challenges. The workshop discussed the most important issues for the entrepreneurs in the changing world. The event was honored by the presence of delegates and their valuable speech i.e. Chairman-IEEE U.P. Section: Dr J.Ramkumar , Vice-Chairman, IEEE U.P. Section: Dr Asheesh K Singh, Secretary, IEEE U.P. Section: Dr Dilip Kumar Sharma and Director GLBITM Greater Noida Dr Rajeev Agrawal. 2. ISTE New Delhi Chapter

A. Expert Talk on “Overview of Smart Grig” by Dr. Ramesh Bansal (Prof. University of Pretoria, South Africa)
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management Greater Noida organized an expert lecture for the students and faculty members on the topic “Overview of Smart Grid” by an international speaker Dr. Ramesh Bansal (Prof. University of Pretoria, South Africa) dated 11th Jan.2017.

The program was started by presenting a bouquet to the speaker Dr. Ramesh Bansal through our esteemed Director, Dr. Rajeev Agrawal at the venue Auditorium Hall-1 GLBITM Gr Noida. Number of students, Faculty members, Dean academic and Director GLBITM had participated the program. Several interesting topics of renewable energy have been discussed during the talk.

 

B. An Expert talk on Advances in power system
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management Greater Noida has organized an expert talk on “Advances in power system” by the expert Dr. S.N. Singh, Chair Professor, EE Dept. - IIT Kanpur on dated 9th Feb.2017.

The program was started by presenting a bouquet to the speaker Dr. S.N. Singh through our esteemed Director, Dr. Rajeev Agrawal at the venue Audi-1, GLBITM Gr Noida. Number of students, Faculty members, Head of departments, Dean academic and Director GLBITM had participated the program. Several interesting and motivational topics had been covered to dig out the hidden energy of students and faculty members.

 

C. One Day Training Program on Electrical Hazards and Safety Practices
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management Greater Noida has organized One Day Training Program on Electrical Hazards and Safety Practices dated 21st August, 2018 in association with National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Badarpur, New Delhi.

Program was technically cosponsored by IEEE UP Section and Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi. Prominent speakers of NPTI have shared their thoughts and experience with the participants.

 

D. Induction Programme On Innovation and Creativity on Teaching Learning Process Sponsored by ISTE-AICTE New Delhi

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management Greater Noida has organized a six days Induction Program on Innovation and Creativity on Teaching Learning Process Sponsored by ISTE-AICTE New Delhi.

Faculty from different department of GLBITM and from different institutions have participated the program. A various interesting Lectures, i.e., Gamification on Teaching Learning, Lively teaching through the art of storytelling, meditations, etc. have been taken by experts, which were interactive and memorable

 

E. FDP on Advance Application of MATLAB
Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, GL BAJAJ Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida has organized a five days (25th -29th June 2018) faculty development program on Advance Application of MATLAB in Engineering sponsored by AKTU under the Scheme of Technical Education Quality Improvement Program Phase-III.
