Paradigm 2016 –A cultural program to celebrate success in the result and placement was organized in the campus. The event was organized to celebrate excellence in the university result and wonderful placement offers for Batch 2017. As the placements has recently begun for 2017, GLBians have got 167 offers from Capgemini, Tech Mahindra has selected 110 students, IBM took 72 , United Health Group picked 26 whereas KPIT Technologies Ltd. And NTT Data took 21and 20 students respectively.

Students of B.Tech, MBA and MCA took part in the event. The event witnessed a trail of activities. Program began with the pious saraswati vandana, spectacular solo and group dance performances were there which kept the audience spell bound with its choreography, creativity, Sense of rhythm, Costumes and props, Synchronization and the overall presentation. Students delirious with excitement also jived to breath-taking beats of instrumental and band performances. The audience got to soak in some electrifying music that got them swaying and dancing to the beats! Students sang Hindi and English solo and group songs which were energetic and foot-tapping Punjabi numbers paving way for non-stop entertainment and fun. Fashion show was there to add to the joy and jubilation. The spectacular Fashion Show put up by the students enthralled the audience. A trail of thought provoking plays on social issues like corruption and girl child education and Some highly comic plays and mimicry took the audience on the roller coaster of emotions.Last but not the least DJ was the cherry on the cake.All the students shook their legs on the popular Bollywood numbers. All in all the show filled the students with new energy for the coming university examinations and upcoming placement drives.
