Orientation Program 2021 - MCA
Department of MCA, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida organized an Orientation Program for the newly admitted MCA students at the institute premises on 24 November 2021. The major objective of the program was to make the students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the Institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students.
The program was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Director GLBITM, Dr. Shashank Awasthi Dean Strategy, Ms. Manju Khatri Dean T & P, HoD’s of all the departments, Dr. Madhu Gaur, Head- MCA and other dignitaries.
Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Agarwal, while delivering a speech on the occasion, said that it was not the events but the attitude that caused success. One third of what constitutes a person is his genetic inheritance; another one third comes from the kind of upbringing he /she receives and the remaining one third from one’s own self. He also stressed the importance of dedication to one’s profession and the need to have proper planning before taking up and implementing any project. He also gave a brief view about institution's achievements, incubation centers and rules regulations.
Ms. Manju Khatri, Head Placements GLBITM, briefed the students about the placement process and give them mantras to crack campus interview. In her address, she assures Student that they leave the institution with degree and offer letter.
Dr. Shashank Awasthi, Dean Strategy guided the students about the importance of being focused during two years of their course and advised them to stay away from all distractions.
Dr. Sharma Head of department Humanity, welcomed students and told them be attentive and enthusiastic during their studies so that they can learn more than their expectation. advised them to follow all rules and regulations of the institute.
Dr. Sanjeev Pippal, Head of the Department -Computer Science advised students to be innovative and think out of the box if they want to survive in competitive IT world.
Dr. Vinod, Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering have also addressed new students. He advised students to be ethical and remember moral values.
Dr. Shraddha Gupta, Head GLBCRI and IIC give a brief about the incubation center, funding projects, patents and ensure students to always support them if they have any Innovative idea.
Dr. Madhu Gaur, Head-MCA, gave necessary information about the academic design of the first year MCA Course and the University and Institute rules and regulations regarding academic matters. She also extended vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and HOD's for sparing their valuable time.
