G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida organised the program "We For Her in Tech" on International Women's Day, Monday, March 8, 2021 to explore the technology interventions and innovations for their upskilling and further mentoring.

 

 

On this Women’s day, Women Cell with Department of MCA, G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, Kick off the Journey of enabling the students to the emerging technologies and innovations. The aim to start this journey is to share the Technology knowledge to the budding technocrats and Trainers/teachers to the nearby Govt. Primary/Junior/Senior schools where students have limited exposure/resources to explore the emerging technology interventions and innovative projects done by our future professionals. 

 

The students of following Govt. primary and junior School were invited in this event

 

1.     Kasturba Gandhi Avasiya Vidyalaya, Dankaur.

2.     UPS, Chuharpur Khadar.

3.     Primary School, Chuharpur Khadar.

4.     Composite School Gharbara. 

 

The event was started with lamp lightning followed by welcoming all the delegates, students and teachers from various schools by Professor Manju Khatri, Director (Training and placement), GLBITM, Greater Noida. Dr. Shashank Awasthi, Dean (Strategy) graced the occasion by sharing his views on women empowerment. Dr. Madhu Gaur, HOD MCA, Chairperson, WGRC introduced about the event. 

 

Many Girl students from the school have given beautiful performances on stage. Female teachers from different schools felicitated by the college. Then, the students and teachers visited various labs of college. In IOT Lab Dr. S.K Sharma (HOD ECE) enthusiastically explained and showed the project of smart dustbin, railway tracking system and low cost battery charger. After that in EE Lab Dr. Mohit Bansal (HOD EE) explained about capacitor working and power station working. In last, the most interesting Robotic lab where each student has respond well was explained by Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav (HOD Mechanical) and their scholars. 

 

Event enthusiastically hosted by Ms. Priyanka Datta and Ms. Shilpa Chaudhary. The event was successfully coordinated by Ms Deepkiran Munjal, Ms Anju Mishra, Dr Sanjeev Kumar , Mr Sandeep Srivastava, Women Grievance Redressal Cell and Department of MCA, GLBITM, Greater Noida.
