Department of Civil Engineering along with Department of Business Studies, conducted an expert lecture on “How to Make Effective Business Plan” so as to help students learn the basic steps to be followed and factors to be taken care of while going for any kind of innovation and entrepreneurship process. The event started with the opening words by Ms. Deepti Dohare, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department followed by the welcome speech by Dr. Arvind Sinha, HOD, MBA Department, where he mentioned the importance of B-Model for the students to sustain in the market.

Later in the event, our expert speaker, Mr. Rohit Kumar, Assistant Professor, MBA Department, took over the session and explained about the B-Plan. He mentioned about the importance of elevator pitch to grab the attention of any investor. He also stated that market analysis and competition identification is a crucial step in planning. He stated that a good revenue model and traction attracts the investors as well as customers. He also mentioned that perfect positioning and customer identification along with relevant skill development and USP will help boost the market of any business plan.

The session ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Prashant Mukharjee, HOD, Civil Engineering Department.
