Capacity Building Programme on "Basics of Research and Techniques"

We feel honoured in sharing that the MBA GLBajaj, Department of Management Studies DMS GL BAJAJ have organised a One week Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on "Basics of Research and Techniques" from 17th August - 22nd August 2020 for faculty, Research scholars, Industry persons, self-employed & Students to make researchers more equipped in the basics of research methods & techniques.

In this Capacity Building programme CBP we have invited eminent and distinguished resource persons from research domain who have imparted their knowledge in the Capacity Building Programme were Dr. Sanjeev Mittal, Dr. Prabhat Srivastava, Dr. H. K. Singh, Dr Medha Joshi, Dr. Dinesh D Bhakkad, Dr. SB Muley, Dr. Sherin Zafar, Dr. Rohit Sharma, Dr. Dhaval Maheta, Dr. Shraddha M. Bhome & Dr. Vidhi Tyagi.

In this Capacity Building programme CBP on Basics of Research and Techniques participants learnt all the elements used in conducting research starting from the elementary step till the end. Topics covered in the 6 days of CBP were Introduction to Basics-Research Methodology, Research approaches and process, Research problem-selection, Review of literature, Research design-Exploratory Research design, Descriptive Research design Sampling Design , Measurement and scaling, Scale Evaluation, Measurement accuracy, Reliability, Validity, Data Collection- Methods and tools, Designing a questionnaire, Hypothesis testing, Parametric tests, Non-parametric tests- Chi-square test ANOVA, Correlation and Regression, Multivariate analysis - Factor Analysis, Research Paper Writing, Thesis Writing, Abstract , Writing, Citation, Impact factor, Plagiarism, Research Ethics etc..

Department of Management studies DMS GL BAJAJ has organised the Virtual Valedictory session of Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on "Basics of Research and Techniques" in a very innovative and creative way. Certificates were distributed to all the participants by our Honourable Director sir. All participants feel extremely excited and joyous after receiving the certificates as this is the first time they received any certificate virtually.

In the end vote of thanks was given to conclude the Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on "Basics of Research and Techniques by Dean MBA and all the members of Team CBP. It was a big day for the whole department as the entire programme of CBP went off successfully. We are grateful for the support of the entire DMS family.
