CHATURANGA by – Shrinik Club

The Shrinik Club of CSE Department organized a chess tournament named “CHATURANGA” on the occasion of “National Sports Day” under the aegis of Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The event received an overwhelming response and appreciation from the participants and students as well as faculty. The online event comprised of chess game rounds. It was organized for second-year and thirdyear students from all departments. Chaturanga received registration from more than 100 participants. Students from GL Bajaj were a major portion of the participants registered. The ‘2-day long’ game competition began at 4:00 PM on 29th August, 2022 till 10:00 PM and at5:00PM on 30th August, 2022 till 7:00 PM in online mode. The prizes were distributed online itself. All the participants were awarded with E-certificates as a motivation so as to make them believe on themselves and bring some innovative ideas and implement the critical thinking of their sharp brains.
