Parichay Episode 1 by Shrinik Club

The Shrinik Club of CSE Department organized an online event named “Parichay Episode 1” under the aegis of Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The event received an overwhelming response and appreciation from the participants and students as well as faculty.
The Parichay Episode 1 was organized between 3rd – 5thSeptember 2022. The online series of events witnessed a massive count of 100+ registrations. The following interest binding activities were organized–

a.) Tongue- Tied: -
• Decoding and speaking of tongue twisters and idioms from the given sentences/images to test pronunciation of participants. • It was held on Google meet with 5 rounds and lasted for 2 hrs.

b.) Techivia: -
• Rapid fire quiz on Science and Technology. A total of 5 rounds were conducted where a team of two participants played together. • Each round consisted of 1-2 questions. It was judged by the founding members.

c.) Classic Kala: -
• Banner Designing Activity where participants designed a banner depicting past decades. Entries were made through Google forms.
• The top 3 entries were featured on Shrinik’s Instagram handle.

d.) Shutter Up: -
• Photography/videography event to capture the face of current work life of humans and earth life.
• All the photos were self-captured by participants.

e.) Doodle for Google: -
• Doodle making in a futuristic way which shows us how the human race will end up in future in the forms of advancements made in the field of tech and science.
• The winners were featured on the official Instagram handle.

Winners of each activity were awarded by an e–certificate and they were mentioned on the official social media handle of the SHRINIK club.
