Department of Master of Computer Applications organized an industrial visit to UniConverge Technology, Noida (Sector 62) on February 20 and 21, 2025. A group of 45 students, accompanied by two faculty members in each slot , participated in this visit. The primary objective was to provide students with practical exposure to IoT (Internet of Things) applications and their real-world implementation in industrial settings. During the visit, students explored the IoT Lab at UniConverge Technology and observed various devices and equipment, including:
1. IoT Home Automation – Demonstration of smart home systems using IoT technology.
2. PLC & Drives – Understanding industrial automation using Programmable Logic Controllers.
3. Radio Module – Overview of wireless communication in IoT systems.
4. Predictive Maintenance – Learning about AI-powered maintenance solutions for industrial applications.
5. AI Helmet Detection – Real-time monitoring system using AI for safety compliance.
6. Analog & Digital Broadcast Module – Insights into digital communication techniques.
7. ESP32 & Node MCU – Hands-on experience with microcontroller-based IoT solutions.
The industrial visit to UniConverge Technology was highly informative and interactive. The students actively engaged with industry experts and gained valuable insights into the latest advancements in IoT technology. The faculty members appreciated the efforts made by UniConverge Technology in facilitating an engaging and well-structured visit.
