Introduction to Logisim 7.2
The session of designing and simulating digital logic circuits conducted by the Anvitha Club, part of the ECE department, was successfully held on September 15, 2025. This informative and engaging session aimed to familiarize students with Logisim7.2
Session Details
The event commenced at 2:50 PM with warm greetings and with the introduction DR. GANGA PRASAD PANDEY (ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, PDPU AHMEDABAD). The Professor outlined the importance of software Logism on google meet session, emphasizing the importance of electronic simulation of circuits on Logism7.2. This point was further reinforced by our esteemed faculty coordinator, Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh.
Commencement of the session
Session started with the greetings to DR. GANGA PRASAD PANDEY then he proceeded with evaluation of the knowledge of members of meeting, he ensured that everyone has pre-installed the software which was recommended prior. Then the interactive session begins from basics of digital electronics and digital system design then lead to their implementation in simulation software, Main agenda of the session was to sensitise students to use software and explore it to implement various circuits and study their working How the takes input, process data and produce output.
Faculty and Students Interactions
To conclude the event, there was guidance by both the faculties motivating students to explore software and simulate circuits. They told the importance of having ability to work on software can be lucrative in perspective of placement and making resume attractive. Students did raise some of the queries related to some components which were catered by the faculty in very explanatory manner.
