The Department of Information Technology (IT) third-year students had the privilege of visiting the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi on 19-11-2024. Accompanied by Prof. P. C. Vashist, HoD-IT, and Dr. Uma Tomer, where the group explored the cutting-edge initiatives and entrepreneurial ecosystem nurtured at FITT.
The visit offered students a firsthand glimpse into the synergy between academic research and industry application. Guided tours showcased ongoing projects, emphasizing innovation, technology transfer, and the incubation of startups. Students engaged in interactive discussions with FITT experts like Dr. Adarsh Madhu, Scientific Officer, Bio-Nest lab, Sugata Lahri, Research scientist, Mr Ashwin, Electronics & Prototyping Lab, Dr. Veenus Kansal, PCB Fab. Manager, Pragati and many other intellectuals are broadening their understanding of real-world problem-solving using IT solutions.
