Expert Talk on Cybersecurity

On 16th May 2025, the Department of Information Technology at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management hosted a thought-provoking expert session titled “Cybersecurity: Merging Innovation with Intelligence” in Seminar Hall 712 (AB2). The session was delivered by Mr. Kunal Gupta (Cyber Security Expert and Technical Trainer.
Mr. Gupta emphasized the importance of integrating intelligent systems with human judgment to create robust defence mechanisms against modern cyber threats. The session also addressed critical issues like ransomware, zero-day vulnerabilities, and insider threats, offering practical approaches to build adaptive and resilient cybersecurity frameworks, and also provided a valuable learning experience, encouraging attendees to embrace innovation and strategic thinking in the field of cybersecurity.
