FDP on AI for Future Workforce

The Department of Computer Science & Information Technology organized a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “AI for Future Workforce” (in collaboration with Intel) in collaboration with the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, and Intel, from 20-24 July 2026. The program was coordinated by Dr. Mala Kalra and Prof. C. Rama Krishna, NITTTR Chandigarh, and focused on strengthening faculty knowledge and practical skills in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, emerging technologies, and real-world applications. The FDP provided valuable insights into the AI project lifecycle, AI-driven solutions, and innovative applications, including applications in the agricultural sector. It also encouraged interaction and knowledge sharing with experts, enabling participants to explore innovative approaches for integrating AI into teaching, research, curriculum development, and problem-solving, while promoting the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
