ICEIT-GLBITM Student Chapter

Institution of Communication Engineers and Information Technologists (ICEIT) is a professional society (registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI 1860) for advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). ICT is a relatively young, dynamic, high impact technology touching almost all spheres of life and the society. For this Purpose ICEIT-GLBITM Student chapter was established on May 15, 2014 to assist students in formulation of ideas, creation of knowledge communities, development of techniques and technologies for better industrial productivity.

The objectives of ICEIT-GLBITM Student chapter are:

  • To facilitate the acquisition and interchange of professional knowledge among its members.
  • Dissemination and updation of ICT related knowledge through conferences, symposia, workshops, continuing education programmes etc.
  • Providing access to current industrial and design and development processes through specialized division activities.

ICEIT Membership provides the opportunity for students to participate in various ICEIT sponsored/supported events and share their knowledge and experience.

Society of Automobile Engineering (SAE) SAE is the premier membership society dedicated to advancing automobile, automotive and passenger car engineering worldwide. The SAEINDIAGLBITM Collegiate club has been constituted at G L Bajaj, with a mission to combine their specialized abilities to further advance the research, development, design, manufacture and utilization of vehicles which operate on land, water, air and space.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) The goal of IEEE education programs is to ensure the growth of skill and knowledge among the technical profession and to foster individual commitment to continuing education among IEEE members. The purpose of establishing the IEEE student branch at G L Bajaj is to connect our students to the global IEEE network thereby promoting awareness in them regarding the professional and technical benefits of IEEE membership, awards, contests and other programs.

Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) The major objective of the ISTE is to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industries and other organizations. G L Bajaj has opened an ISTE student chapter to facilitate its students to avail all benefits of the ISTE membership. ISTE help the students to develop Technical and Professional skills.

ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery founded in New York on September 15, 1947, is the world’s largest educational and scientific society connecting and convening the researchers, educators, and professionals to apportion resources, inspire discourse and scrutinize and address the field’s challenges.
ACM’s reach extends to every part of the globe, with more than half of its 100,000 members residing outside the U.S. GL Bajaj ACM Chapter was officially chartered by ACM's Chief Operating Officer on March 5, 2018. There are 20 student members and 5 professional members in the G.L. Bajaj ACM Student Chapter. GL Bajaj-ACM aims at conducting a series of Workshops, Events and Certification Programmes.

The Institution of Engineers (India) is the national organization of engineers in India. The Institution of Engineers (India) has more than one million members in 15 engineering disciplines in 114 centers or chapters in India and overseas; it is the world's largest multi-disciplinary engineering professional society in engineering and technology world. The Institution of Engineers (India) was established in 1920 in Kolkata, West Bengal and is acclaimed to have pioneered non-formal education in engineering. The Institution of Engineers (India) conducts an examination of its associate membership.
