Soil testing is a vital part in design and analyis of Foundation Engineering and Structural Engineering.A complete collection of soil samples and evaluation of engineering soil properties are necessary components of foundation engineering which is the base of Civil Engineering.The lab provides all required soil testing methods and study of its engineering properties.

COMPUTATIONAL LABORATORIES

The computation laboratory consists of various Softwares like STAAD.Pro and AUTOCAD wherein the students design and draft the various structural components of a Multi-Storeyed Building like Beam,Column,Slab and Footing. The laboratory is equipped with 30 Computer system with Internet facility and a projector.

BMC AND CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY LAB

The Concrete Tech lab is equipped with Compression Testing Machine, Slump Test, Compaction factor Test and Vee-Bee time apparatus etc to perform various tests on Concrete, cement etc.

FLUID MECHANICS & HYDRAULIC MACHINES LABORATORIES

This lab gives an exposure about the practical aspects of hydraulic machines and fluid mechanics wherein the students are able to apply the theoretical concepts of fluid.

Building Planning and Drawing Lab

The students learn the drafting software tools like AUTOCAD in which drafting of residential building, staircases, doors and windows etc are prepared by the students.

TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING LAB

The laboratory of transportation Engineering is well equipped with all the required instruments and equipment that are helpful in the overall understanding and practical knowledge of a student. The various equipment available in the laboratory are Aggregate impact value, Aggregate crushing value, Los Angles, Abrasion testing machine, Flakiness and Elongation index, Bitumen penetration testing machine, ring and ball apparatus, Flash and Fire point, Ductility value of bitumen, stripping vale of bitumen etc.
