Achievements

Utkarsh Arora from the Department of Information Technology, GLBITM, Greater Noida, secured First Runner-up position at Sprinthacks 3.0 Hackathon and was awarded a cash prize of ?25,000.
He demonstrated outstanding technical skills and innovation, delivering impactful solutions that earned high appreciation from the jury.

Sparsh Deep, Ashish Kumar Singh from the Department of Information Technology secured 1st position in the Hack o Clock Hackathon at IILM 2025, a national-level tech fest held on 15th–16th April 2025 at IILM University, Greater Noida. The team presented an innovative AI and IoT-based smart wearable device focused on women’s safety.

Vishakha from the Department of Information Technology secured 1st position in the IoT and AI Challenge at IILM IGNITE 2025, a national-level tech fest held on 15th–16th April 2025 at IILM University, Greater Noida. She presented an AI- and IoT-based smart wearable solution for women's safety, which was recognized for its innovation, social impact, and technical excellence.

Students from the Department of Information Technology showcased their innovation and technical excellence by emerging as winners in the Delhi Regional Showcase 2024, organized by TechSaksham in collaboration with Microsoft. The event was held at Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology and featured participation from around 20 teams across various colleges.

Mahima Maurya, Department of Information Technology, with her team secured 1st Prize in the Karnataka State Police Datathon, June 2024, held at the Microsoft Office, Bengaluru. Competing against working professionals and start-ups, the team showcased outstanding data analysis and problem-solving abilities.

Mahima Maurya and Ashutosh Gupta secured first position with their team in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023, held in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. They received a cash prize of ?1 lakh for their outstanding solution. The event brought together innovative minds from across the country to solve real-world challenges.

Apoorv Gupta and Aditya Chand (IT Department) secured 3rd position in the Fintech-themed "Q2 Finxthon – Break the Financial Pattern" Hackathon, held in November 2023. The event was organized by the Department of IT and T&P Cell, GLBITM, in collaboration with Q2 Software.

Sarthak Verma, student of Information Technology Departmant has developed a platform named "egaushala". e-Gaushala is a new online concept which enables donors from anywhere in the world to easily contribute to various gaushalas in India and elsewhere, all in just a click. Better yet, as a donor you can use our interactive map to find and view a gaushala, either virtually or in person, and see firsthand the impact you are making.

Information Technology students' Rahul Chugh and Sarthak Verma received KPIT Inspirational Innovation Award and won 4th place at Smart India Hackathon under Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for developing a solution for Farmers so that they do not have to burn the wheat stubble in farms and help the government bodies to monitor the farms where stubble was being burned.

Student Sugandha Biswas of IT Department scored 2nd Rank( Silver Medal) and 89.45 % in AKTU merit list of year 2016-17

International Conference

Dr. A.P Srivastava visited AALBORG University Denmark to attend international conference on green computing and engineering technology (ICGCET 2016). Dr. A.P Srivastava was also awarded with best paper award for his research work on wireless sensor network.

ARC Lab with APS GmbH-European center for mechatronics

Dr. A.P Srivastava was trained in ARC Lab under the quality improvement program by APS GmbH-Europian center for mechatronics, Aachen, Germany . The industry project was implemented by the faculty with Robostudio software at ABB IRB 7600.
