Board of Studies

Constitution of Institute’s Board of Studies of the Established Academic Department. The Board of Studies for each department shall consist of the following members:
• Head of the Department (Convener)
• All Professors of the concerned Department
• Two Associate Professors of the concerned Department
• Three Assistant Professor of the concerned Department.
• One or more outside subject experts nominated by the Director in consultation with the Head of concerned Department.

Functions of the Board of Studies: • Review of detailed syllabi of different courses of respective department as proposed by all regulatory / affiliating authorities and shall prepare a gap analysis / suggestions, if any. Such Gap analysis / suggestion will be reported to the concerned authorities of Affiliating University / Regulatory Authority for their consideration.
• Prepare detailed syllabi of all value added / additional courses introduced beyond syllabus of affiliating university to enhance skills and employability among the students.
• The meetings of the Board of Studies shall be held at least once in a year.
