Industrial Visit BHEL, Haridwar.

48 students of B.Tech, III year, Mechanical Engineering have visited BHEL, Haridwar on 14 Sep, 2018. Students were accompanied by 2 faculty members 1.Mr. Omprakash Yadav, 2. Mr.  Rajesh kumar Maurya. There students have interacted with BHEL Experts and discussed about the new era of the technologies in the field of design and manufacturing of gas turbine etc. The Industry is one of the Maharatna PSU in India with a strong global presence. It has also become one of the world’s largest design and manufacturing companies. The product of bhel are boiler, gas turbine, preheater, fan hydro power plant, piping, pulverizing and many more. The students were able to understand the basic of machine and machining operations for boiler, gas compressor and gas turbine blade and student was also able to understand the assembly of gas turbine blade.

This type of industrial visit certainly enhances the knowledge and employability of the students by enriching their industry knowledge and to have the best industry interfacing.
