Digital Defence Drive: Empowering Young Minds About Cyber-Security The Department of Master of Computer Applications of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (GLBITM) organised an outreach event titled “Digital Defence Drive”. A group of 16 MCA students visited CRR Modern Public School, where they conducted a session that introduced the basics of cyber security, explaining how to stay safe online, recognise fake links, and protect personal information from hackers. The team also demonstrated a practical session showing how hackers can misuse email and passwords, and how simple precautions can prevent such attacks. Students were also introduced to deepfake technology, learning how it works and the risks it poses when used for harmful purposes. The event inspired and educated school students about the importance of cybersecurity in this digital world.
