A Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Research: An Inevitable Element of Epistemology” was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida. The FDP was organized from 24 th to 29 th June 2016.

Objectives of FDP:
The broad objectives of this FDP included:
1 - To enable faculty to define the research problem and develop an appropriate methodology for their studies.
2 - To help researchers identify research gaps and write a research paper.
3 - To develop an overview of the different quantitative and qualitative techniques used in engineering research.
