NOTICE FOR BRANCH CHANGE, Session 2021-22
All students of B.Tech. 3rd Semester, Session 2020-21 are hereby informed that application form for branch change (on the basis of merit of YGPA attained in B.Tech.1st Year, session 2020-21) is available at institute reception. Eligible students are required to collect this form from reception. Duly filled application form will be accepted at Reception by 11:00 AM on 25.09.2021 (Saturday). After this date and time no application will be accepted. Branch Change result will be displayed on same day i.e. 25.09.2021 (Saturday) at 4:30 PM on Office Notice board.
Measure conditions / eligibility are as follows: -
1. Candidate must have PASS status with at least 6.0 YGPA marks in first year result (session 2020-21) in one attempt. YGPA calculation factor is given in B.Tech. Ordinances / application form.
2. Student who have PWG / PCP / PCP-A status is not eligible and need not to apply for branch change. Lateral Entry, Re-admitted and Ex-students are not allowed for branch change.
3. Branch Change will be granted on the basis of Merit and Choice only and subject to the final approval of the University. EWS/TFW cases will be considered only for the vacancy against the same category.
4. Branch once changed, against branch change application, will not be withdrawn, reason what so ever. Therefore, all students are required to inform their parents and obtain their permission before applying.
5. Further, all are required to read the rule and regulations of University regarding branch change vide circular No. AKTU/COE/2021/Branch Change/5055 dated 23.09.2021.
