One Day Workshop on Radiography Testing

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, organized a one-day workshop on "Radiography Testing " on April 24th, 2024. The Expert of this workshop is Mr. Siddharth Chandra Tripathi Director, Advance Institute of Non-Destructive Testing and Training (ANDT. This Event started with a briefing of the program by Mr. Vibhor Dwivedi (3rd Year ME Student Coordinator IIC Cell) followed by Expert Mr. Siddharth, a Radiography Expert at the Advance Institute of Non Destructive Testing and Training. Renowned experts in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT) conducted insightful technical sessions throughout the day. Topics covered included: Non-Destructive Testing, Introduction to Radiography Testing, Principles of X-ray and Gamma-ray Radiography, Radiographic Image Interpretation, Safety Protocols in Radiography Testing and Advanced Radiography Techniques. The workshop fostered interactive discussions among participants and facilitators, allowing for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and best practices in radiography testing. Case studies and real-world examples were also presented to illustrate the practical applications of radiographic techniques. The workshop concluded with a closing ceremony and facilitated by Dr. Traun Kumar Gupta, Associate Professor, MED, and Mr. Kushal Pal Singh, Assistant Professor MED. Participants expressed their gratitude for the valuable insights gained during the workshop, highlighting its relevance to their academic and professional pursuits.
