Orientation Programme - Aagaaz

The Department of Information Technology at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management organized the “Orientation Programme – Aagaaz” on 16th September 2024 at SHD Hall (AB-1). This event was designed to warmly welcome the 2nd-year students into the departmental fold, as they begin their core journey in the IT stream.
The programme commenced with an enlightening address by the Head of the Department, who introduced the students to the department’s vision, mission, academic structure, and expectations. Faculty members were formally introduced, along with a brief overview of the subjects they teach, ensuring students were familiar with the academic framework ahead.
The event also highlighted the importance of discipline, integrity, and active participation in both curricular and co-curricular activities. Students were briefed on key academic policies, departmental rules, examination patterns, and the various resources available to support their academic growth.
