Tech talk on Open Source and Google Summer of Code

The Department of Information Technology organized a Tech talk on “Open Source and Google Summer of Code (GSoC)” on 13th November 2024. The session was delivered by Mr. Bhuvnesh Sharma, an esteemed alumnus of the Department of IT, Batch 2020–2024, currently working as an SDE-1 at Zelthy, GSoC Mentor (2024), and Founder of the Django India Community.
Mr. Sharma shared his journey in open source and guided students on applying for GSoC, selecting the right projects, and succeeding as contributors. The session inspired students to explore global tech opportunities and highlighted the career benefits of open-source involvement.
