Workshop on Prototype / Process Design and Development

The "Prototype/Process Design and Development" workshop, hosted by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, was a dynamic and insightful offline session held on 23rd May 2025 in Academic Block 1, GLBITM.
Designed to ignite creativity and spark innovation among students, the workshop was led by Mr. Prince Pal Singh, a distinguished faculty member from the MBA Department, GLBITM. With his deep expertise and engaging delivery, Mr. Singh walked attendees through the crucial stages of turning raw ideas into tangible, functional prototypes — a skill every aspiring innovator must master.
The session covered a wide spectrum of topics, from ideation frameworks and design thinking to real-world product development and market validation. Through interactive discussions and practical case studies, students gained clarity on how to align their ideas with real user needs, test prototypes, and make informed design decisions.
What truly set this workshop apart was its hands-on approach — encouraging students not just to listen but to think, analyze, and create. The event emphasized problem-solving, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial vision — all while nurturing a collaborative learning environment. With a full house of enthusiastic participants and the passionate efforts of student and faculty coordinators, the workshop created an academic space where technology met creativity and innovation met execution. It was more than just a lecture; it was an experience that laid the groundwork for future innovators to dream big and build even bigger.
With continued support from the Department of CSE and IIC, such initiatives are paving the way for a strong culture of entrepreneurship, design, and innovation at GLBITM.
