Workshop on Role of Bystanders and CPR

The NSS Unit of GLBITM, in collaboration with L&T Finance and TRAX NGO, successfully organized a workshop on “Role of Bystanders and CPR” on 5th March 2025. The session was conducted by Dr. Vaibhav Tomar, a renowned medical professional from MAX Hospital. The workshop aimed to spread awareness and impart essential life-saving skills among students, emphasizing the critical role that bystanders can play during medical emergencies. Dr. Tomar delivered an insightful and interactive session, highlighting the importance of timely intervention through Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Participants were educated on the correct CPR techniques, common misconceptions and the confidence needed to act during emergencies. A total of 10 NSS volunteers actively participated and supported the smooth execution of the event. Overall, the workshop was a great success and aligned with NSS's objective of community welfare and awareness.
