CAFE 2012 - International Conference on Applications of Fluid Engineering

PREAMBLE
The field of fluid mechanics is vast and has numerous and diverse applications. The conference covered a wider range of topics, including basic formulations and their computer modelling as well as the relationship between experimental and analytical results. The emphasis is on new applications and research currently in progress. The object of the meeting was to provide a forum for discussing new work in fluid mechanics and in particular for promoting the interchange of new ideas and the presentation of the latest applications in the field.

PROMPTING THOUGHTS
Combustion kinetics and high temperature gas dynamics enable us to understand heat transfer as well as generation of thrust inside the combustion chambers. Aircrafts and spacecrafts deal with complicated aerodynamic and reentry conditions in atmosphere. 3-D and 2-D analysis of gases flowing through turbine blades lead to the development of twisted blades.  Water power has also a great potential. A wide and rich deliberation will help researchers to acquaint them with advanced strategies.
