Smart India Hackathon 2025 – Hardware Edition
GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management proudly inaugurates the Smart India Hackathon 2025 – Hardware Edition as a Nodal Centre!
The five-day national innovation marathon kicked off at GLBITM, Greater Noida with immense energy as 26 teams (156 participants) from 9 states gathered to solve real-world challenges given by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJE).
The national inauguration was graced virtually by Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, while the campus witnessed an inspiring address by Chief Guest Dr. Amitava Sen Gupta, motivating young innovators to engineer solutions with passion and purpose.
Participants will work on five impactful problem statements, including assistive technologies like smart blind sticks, IoT-enabled crutches, orthotic optimization devices, prosthetic solutions, and advanced sign-language capture systems.
GLBITM leadership, including Mr. Kartikay Agarwal, Dr. Preeti Bajaj, and distinguished representatives from AICTE, MIC, MoSJE, Wipro, and GL Bajaj institutions, marked the occasion with their presence and support.
