Alumni Expert Interaction & Motivational Session - 13 September, 2025
The Alumni Cell and Career Development Cell (CDC) of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management organized a distinguished Expert Session on “Agile & AI–Driven Transformation: Career Opportunities & Growth Tactics” on 13th September 2025.
The session aimed to connect students with the institute’s proud alumnus, Mr. Swarn Garg, to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry realities.
The event commenced on an auspicious note with the lamp lighting ceremony, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Esteemed dignitaries and faculty members graced the stage, and distinguished guests were felicitated with bouquets and mementos as a mark of respect and gratitude.

Objective The Alumni Interaction Session was organized by the MCA Department to provide the students of the Batch 2024–26 with real-world insights into the IT industry. This initiative aimed to strengthen alumni relations and help students prepare for future careers by learning from experienced professionals.
Guest Speaker
We had the privilege of hosting Mr. Shubhang Mishra, a distinguished alumnus from the Batch of 2021–2023, who is currently working at Bravana Solutions. Through his interactive presentation, he shared his professional journey and offered a glimpse into the life of a Java Developer in the IT industry.
Conclusion The Alumni Interaction Session with Mr. Shubhang Mishra was both inspiring and enlightening for the Batch of 2024–26. His insights into Java development and corporate culture at Bravana Solutions provided practical guidance for career growth. We had the privilege of hosting Mr. Tushar Goel, a distinguished alumnus from the Batch of 2021–2023, who is currently working at Tech Mahindra. With his expertise in Management, he shared his professional journey and offered valuable insights into leadership, project coordination, and the role of management in today’s IT-driven world.
Conclusion The Alumni Interaction Session with Mr. Tushar Goel was an enriching experience for the Batch of 2024–26. His insights into management practices at Tech Mahindra helped students visualize career paths beyond pure technical roles. The session proved to be motivating, informative, and instrumental in preparing students for both professional and personal growth.

GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management hosted a workshop on “Building the Future: DevOps, Cloud & AI Powered Automation” by our distinguished alumnus Mr. Sachin Agarwal, Batch 2015, B. Tech (IT), now a DevOps Lead Specialist at Comcast Technology Solutions.
Students acquired helpful understandings into future-forward technologies, industry trends, and automation practices straight from a global tech expert!

Alumni Interaction Session - 24 May, 2025
Objective The MCA Department organized a virtual Alumni Tech Talk session to provide current students with insights into emerging industry trends and practical tools used in real-world IT environments. This session aimed to inspire and inform the students of the 2023–25 and 2024–26 batches about critical DevOps practices, specifically focusing on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Guest Speaker
We were honoured to host Mr. Piyush Kumar Shrivastav, a distinguished alumnus from the MCA department, currently working as a Senior System Engineer at Infosys. He delivered a virtual presentation full of technical insights, career guidance, and real-world experiences, making the session deeply enriching and motivational.
Conclusion The Alumni Tech Talk by Mr. Piyush Kumar Shrivastav was a highly informative and motivating session. It successfully blended technical knowledge with career insights, helping students gain clarity about DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and career readiness. The event proved to be a valuable bridge between academic learning and the dynamic requirements of the IT industry.


Alumni Interaction Session - 13 May, 2025
Objective of the Session: The session aimed to inspire students by connecting them with the life journey, discipline, and achievements of Wing Commander Shikha Singh (R), an alumna of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management and a former officer in the Indian Air Force. Through her experiences, the goal was to instill patriotism, leadership, and self-belief among students.

We had the privilege of hosting Mr. Deepak Sharma, a distinguished alumnus from the Batch of 2020–2022, who is currently working at Capgemini. Through this interactive presentation, he shared his professional journey and offered a glimpse into the life of a Java Developer in one of the leading IT companies.
Conclusion The Alumni Interaction Session with Mr. Deepak Sharma was an inspiring and enriching experience for the students of the 2024–26 batch. Guest Speaker We had the honor of welcoming Mr. Kapil Chauhan, an alumnus from the Batch of 2022–24, who is currently working at Vinculum Technology. He delivered an insightful presentation on Power BI, sharing practical knowledge and applications from his current role.
The Alumni Interaction Session with Mr. Kapil Chauhan was a motivating and enriching experience for the 2023–25 batch. Alumni Interaction Session on 23rd August 2025
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) organized an Alumni Interaction Session on 23rd August 2025, titled “Innovative Skills for Industry Success.” The session was conducted to mentor students by highlighting industry expectations, essential skills, and innovative approaches for professional growth and career readiness.
The event began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Nagendra Kumar, who emphasized the significance of alumni interactions in bridging academic learning and industrial practices.
Mr. Devbrat Pandey, a proficient alumnus from the 2014–2019 batch and currently serving as Assistant Manager at AVL, Gurugram, shared his professional journey and key strategies for excelling in placements and workplace environments. His session covered problem-solving techniques, communication development, and fostering innovative thinking for industry success.
The session concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. Mohit Bansal, Head of Department (EEE), appreciating the speaker for his valuable insights and encouraging students to apply the shared learnings for career advancement.
The session proved highly beneficial, boosting student’s confidence, enhancing their technical and soft skills, and motivating them to adopt innovative approaches toward career success. The department plans to host more such sessions to strengthen industry-academia linkage and improve placement outcomes.


Alumni Talk - Campus to Corporate
The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Alumni Cell, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, jointly organized an enriching Alumni Talk on April 23, 2025, titled “Campus to Corporate”. The session was held from 10:10 AM to 1:00 PM and was aimed at preparing students for a seamless transition from academic life to the professional world.
The speaker for the Alumni Talk was Mr. Prashant Mishra, a Proud alumnus of the institute and an accomplished professional in the corporate sector. Drawing from his own journey, Mr. Mishra shared valuable insights into the realities of the professional world, workplace culture, and the key competencies required to thrive in today’s competitive environment. The talk focused on enhancing students' understanding of corporate expectations, the importance of soft skills, professional communication, adaptability, and ethical behavior in the workplace. Mr. Mishra emphasized how academic knowledge, when paired with the right attitude and interpersonal skills, lays the foundation for long-term career growth.

Alumni Mentor-Mentee Meet-UP
The Alumni Cell of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida organized an online Mentor-Mentee Meet-up on Saturday, June 8, 2024. The event aimed to foster a strong connection between alumni and current students, providing mentorship opportunities in various fields, including technical skills, behavioral guidance, and project management.
The meet-up saw enthusiastic participation from 22 of our esteemed alumni, faculty members, and current students. Special thanks to our Director Sir and the HODs of CSE, ACSE, ME, IT, EEE, and ECE, as well as Dr. Madhu Gaur, Head of the Alumni Cell and HOD MCA, for their invaluable contributions to the event.
The primary aim of this meet-up was to create a platform to strengthen the bond between our proud alumni and current students, focusing on skill enhancement and better career building.

Alumni Talk: Mr. Aditya Panwar on "Campus to Corporate: A Successful Journey"
On January 09, 2024, G. L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida invited its distinguished alumni, Mr. Aditya Panwar (IT 2007- 2011 Batch), speak on "Campus to Corporate: A Successful Journey." Mr. Aditya Panwar is Sales Director in DRYiCE and software at HCLTech, London.
Dr. PC Vashist, HOD IT Department, G.L. Bajaj ITM, Greater Noida, started the program and welcomed our alumni guests. and he introduced the alumni and stated, "If you have dedication, determination, and passion, you can achieve everything. He further added that students can get valuable insight from these alumni interaction about different experiences and practices that will be fruitful in professional field.
In continuation, Dr Madhu S Gaur, HOD MCA department also welcomed our alumni guests and she stated, "This Alumni Connect Program defines how alumni are connected to their institution." She described the Alumni Connect Program as a bridge between alumni and students. During the address, Mr. Aditya told how he has achieved high status with many ups and downs in her life on "Campus to Corporate: A Successful Journey." As he described his successful journey, he thanked G.L Bajaj for providing holistic development, valuable learnings and supportive faculty members.
He gained interpersonal and relationship management skills. He emphasized gaining experience throughout his speech and counselled taking experience from any source one could find. He also gave some information about the work culture in UK.
This event aims to provide career guidance to current students and inform them about various aspects of the global job market.

Alumni Talk Session with Hemant Katyal
GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management (GLBITM) organized an Alumni Talk Session with Hemant Katyal, founder of DhanGuard, to connect the alumni with the students.
Hemant Katyal interacted and motivated the students to make the best of their time at GL Bajaj. He emphasized on how creating cutting-edge technologies with the right mentorship and guidance from learned faculties at GL Bajaj made him reach great heights. He offered to guide his juniors by mentoring them through online sessions.
Hemant also talked about his journey of becoming an entrepreneur. With many trials and errors in his path, the zeal of never giving up made him start his venture "Dhan Guard Group" after moving to Dubai, and now finally successfully running it.

Alumni interaction “Motivational Session for Career planning and preparation approach” - 23 November, 2023
Objective of event (should be related to I/E/IPR): The main objective of this event was to motivate the students to develpope skills , and leadership qualities. Outcomes of the events.
The students will get a unique possibility to get practical experience in developing necessary skills of Innovator Benefits in terms of learning / skill

Knowledge obtained (should be related to I/E/IPR): The session started with an introductory session by Mr.Ata Ur Rehman with the students. Mr. Ata Ur Rehman is currently working as a Technical Engineer in Keyence India Gurugram, providing training and support to the customer. He briefed us about the problems faced during his college days and solutions to the common problems faced by the students of mechanical engineering department.
He talked about the current industrial scenario and the requirement of the industries. He also highly motivated all the students and talk about the need and various opportunities for mechanical engineers in the industry.

Alumni interaction “ Master Class ” - 23 February, 2023
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, organized an alumni talk on expert lecture on " Career planning and preparation approach” on 23 Feb 2023 from 11:00 PM to 12:30 PM. The session started with an introductory session by Mr. Shiwansh Jaiswal with the students.
Mr. Shiwansh Jaiswal is currently working as a senior executive in Uno Minda Ltd. in lighting division. He briefed us about the problems he faced during his college days and solutions to the common problems faced by the students of mechanical engineering department. Mr. Shiwansh talked about the current industrial scenario and the requirement of the industries. He also motivated all the students and talk about the need and various opportunities for mechanical engineers in the industry. He advised the students to focus on various professional development areas and to improve our skillsets for the future benefit and he also advised us to indulge in more industrial projects as they help us a lot during interviews. Overall, His visit was a valuable learning experience for all of us. His talk and the discussions that followed helped us to understand the importance of having a positive mindset, consistency, and perseverance in achieving our goals. We are grateful for his visit, and we hope to have more such insightful sessions in the future.

ObjectiveTo make students aware about how to prepare for Core Sector Jobs and Placement Opportunities.
Alumni Introduction: Mr. VISHAL TIWARI (2013-2017), currently working in ATLAS COPCO was invited to deliver a talk.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with a discussion on how to prepare for Core Sector Jobs. He shared his routine, that he followed during his preparation days. His words were very productive. Students were eager to know the working of Core Sector. The guest was pleased to answer the question. It was surprising to see that students were aware about the hard work that takes then to the post. The talk was well flowed over the period of time. Students are motivated towards the public sector jobs and opportunities.

Alumni Introduction: Mr. Aditya Mathur (2017-2021), currently working in the Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz Ltd as Robotics Deployment Engineer, was invited to deliver a talk.
The objective of the Event: To make students aware of how to prepare for Placement Opportunities in the Robotics field.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with a discussion on how to prepare for Placement in Robotics. He shared his daily routine, which he followed during his preparation days. His words were very productive & students were eager to know the working of Private Organizations and Upcoming Opportunities in the Robotics Field. The guest was pleased to answer the question. It was surprising to see that students were aware of the hard work that takes them to this post. The talk well flowed over the period. Students are motivated toward private-sector jobs and opportunities.

Theme: Introduction to the World of Data Science.
Objective To make students aware how to enter in Data Science.
Alumni Introduction: Mr. Kumar Gourabh (2012-2016), currently pursuing BSc in “Programming and Data Science” from IIT Madras was invited to deliver a talk.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with an introduction of Data Science, AI, ML and Deep Learning. Further, he discussed that how AI, ML and Deep learning are different to each other. As the session went on, he further presented certain practical examples of the same through videos and PPTs. The session was very handy and he shared his own experience about the same. He further added about the challenges that he faced while dealing related projects. He also motivated students to enrich themselves with required skillsets.

Theme: Start-up-: Wings to the Dream.
Objective To motivate the students about the startups .
Alumni Introduction: Mr. Vagish Arya, completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering (2008-2012) from G.L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida. He was placed in Apollo Tyres through a campus interview. He worked in Apollo Tyres for 9 years. Then, he founded his own company with name Tyro Care. Presently, Tyro Care making business with leading automotive companies like J K Tyre, Apollo Tyres, Bridgestone and many more.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with a warm welcome of the speaker by Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav (HOD-ME). Mr. Vagish Arya started his discussion on various challenges to form a startup. The session was very interactive and Mr. Vagish shared his own experience and journey during and after college. He offered immense help to the students like providing them internship opportunities and training them in their particular domain of interest. He also shared the idea of tyre pressure monitoring system. As the session went on students were very keen to know about Tyro care. At the end, the vote of thanks was conveyed by Mr. Neelotpal Pande (Student Coordinator III Year ME).

Theme: Higher education and the role of social media for engineering students to build their professional careers.
Objective To aware students of higher education in different fields and countries. Students also learned how to build their professional careers through social media platforms like Linkedin.
Alumni Introduction: Mr. Vishwajeet Singh Sengar, completed his mechanical engineering (2014-18) from G.L Bajaj institute of technology and management, and then he pursued his PGDM (2019-2021) from Birla Institute of management technology
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The session commenced with the speaker giving an introduction to LinkedIn then as the session moved forward, he told the students about the different features of the platform, some tips and tricks on increasing your reach and the proper way to approach someone, dos and don'ts of the platform. In short, it was quite a brief learning of the platform. The session was interactive as the students were continuously clearing out their queries. Afterwards, the speaker moved towards the other topic in which he discussed about the possibilities after graduation whether it is a job, master’s degree or several competitive exams. He informed the students about the scholarship programs for studying abroad and online courses available. He also emphasized on exploring the opportunities, improving the soft skills, building expertise, staying self-motivated and last but not the least, being confident. He cleared the students queries with such a ease and in brief. He also provided his contact details to the students, if the they need any help.


Alumni Interaction by Industry-Academia Relationship Cell (IARC) - 03 April, 2021
Theme: M.S Abroad Preparation, Realities, and Rewards.
Objective To make students aware of career prospects related to Masters abroad, from how to make an attractive profile to how job markets work in the US.
Alumni Introduction: Ms. Monika Bhati (2013-2017), currently pursuing M.S from North Carolina State University was invited to deliver a talk.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The talk started with the introduction of Ms. Monika Bhati, she then explained her journey all the way from her time at G.L. Bajaj to her admission to higher studies abroad.
Industrial Engineering program at NCSU. She explained about the type of experiences which are good to have for an MS aspirant. The session was very interactive later with everyone asking their doubts in an open environment, various things such as TA/RA opportunities, high tuition fee, SOP, volunteer experience were also discussed. Also, many students had a doubt regarding Germany vs US which was discussed particularly in detail and the costs, work experience required along with them. She also discussed about life in the US. Overall, it was a very informative session and students gained a lot out of it.

Theme: Pro and Cons of the job in core mechanical engineering field.
Objective To make students aware about the Pro and Cons of the job in core mechanical engineering field and also this event is basically planned for the students who are shortlisted by Rane Group for the upcoming campus placement drive.
Our Speakers: Mr. Vishwa Vijay Singh, Mr. Chetan Pathak and Mr. Shivam Verma are our speakers. They are currently working in Rane Group, and also the alumnus of G.L. Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with introduction of speaker’s background introduction and various other fields’ basic knowledge. The session went well Mr. Vishwa Vijay Singh, Mr. Chetan Pathak, and Mr. Shivam Verma had covered many topics including the current scenario of job in the core field, How COVID-19 affects the field, and also the demand of the market, they also talk about the post COVID situations and also discuss the recruitment process of the Rane Group. Alumni Talk by Industry Academia Relationship Cell (IARC) in association with Career Counseling Cell - 13 January, 2021
Theme: Career Opportunities in the sales field
Objective To make students aware about various job prospects and insights into how industry works.
Alumni Introduction: Mr. Kush Kumar (2015-2019), currently Asst. Engineer at Micromatic Group was invited to deliver a talk.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with introduction of speaker’s background introduction and various other fields’ basic knowledge. The session went well, Mr. Kush Kumar told students about his work in the industry and also enlighten students about the key roles of a sales engineer in an industry and he also talked about the interview process of various industries(off campus and on campus) and also dispel the myth about the sales profile of an industry.

Theme: Career Opportunities after M.Tech from IITs/NITs
Objective To make students aware about various job prospects and insights into how industry works.
Alumni Introduction: Mr. Shubhanshu Rai (2013-2020), currently pursuing M.Tech from IIT Jodhpur was invited to deliver a talk.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with introduction of speaker’s background introduction and various other fields’ basic knowledge. The session went well, Mr. Shubhanshu told students about his research work which revolved around Heat Exchanger and motivated students. He specifically mentioned one should focus more having a strong foundation before going to softwares like Ansys, Abacus. As the session went on, students were very keen to know more about CFD which he is currently working on. Also, the students got an introduction to Ansys workbench, and Mr Shubhanshu Rai was willing to take a more hands-on session another time with a small group of students who have good foundations in Mechanical Engineering subjects.

Theme: Motivational Talk: How to prepare for GATE/ Public Sector Examination.
Objective To make students aware about how to prepare for GATE/Public Sector Examination.
Alumni Introduction: Mr. AMIT SHARMA (2013-2017), currently working in Indian Railways was invited to deliver a talk.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with a discussion on how to prepare for GATE and Public Sector Examination. He shared his routine, that he followed during his preparation days. His words were very productive .Students were eager to know the working of Government Sector. The guest was pleased to answer the question. It was surprising to see that students were aware about the hardwork that takes then to the post. The talk was well flowed over the period of time. Students are motivated towards the public sector.

Theme: Recent Trends in Mechanical Engineering
Objective To make students aware about the recent trends in Mechanical Engineering.
Alumni Introduction: Mr. Arpit Pathak (2016-2020), currently working in Thermax Pvt. Ltd was invited to deliver a talk.
Benefit in terms of learning/skill/knowledge obtained: The lecture started with a discussion on current scenario and requirement of industrial needs after graduating in mechanical engineering. The session was very interactive and Mr Arpit Pathak shared his own experience and journey during and after the college. Mr. Arpit motivated the students that they should focus more on learning new skills, programming laguages, design softwares as per their interest. As the session went on students were very keen to know about changing scenario in mechanical engineering.


Alumni Start-up Meet
On 10th Jan 2020, Alumni Start-up meet was held at Conference room of GL Bajaj Innovation Centre. The meet was organized by GL Bajaj Innovation Centre in association with Institute’s Innovation Council (IIC). Alumni of the institute who have established or in process to setup their Start-ups were invited to interact with the Director, faculty and students.

The entrepreneurs were welcomed by Dr. Rajeev Agrawal, Director GLBITM and President IIC. They shared their startup journey with the faculty and students. On behalf of the institute management, Director Sir offered to extend all the available facilities of Innovation and Incubation Center to them. It was also suggested to create social media group connecting startup alumni so that information can be shared regarding benefits of Govt. agencies available through the institute.

The startups also had a close interaction and discussion with students in different groups to discuss their plans to become entrepreneurs and guide them on path to be followed.
