Industrial Visit at Innovative Packtech Machines
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management (GLBITM), Greater Noida, organized an insightful industrial visit to Innovative Packtech Machines Pvt. Ltd., Greater Noida, on 18th February 2025. This visit provided an excellent opportunity for students and faculty members to gain practical exposure to the manufacturing processes and workings of packaging machinery.
The visit began with all students and faculty members gathering at the college campus early in the morning. The GLBITM College bus departed on time and ensured that everyone arrived at the venue before 11:00 a.m. The group proceeded to the main office of Innovative Packtech Machines Pvt. Ltd., Greater Noida, where the visit commenced. Upon arrival, the students and faculty were welcomed into the main office where they were given an informative presentation. The company representatives introduced Innovative Packtech Machines Pvt. Ltd., providing a detailed overview of the company’s history, vision, and the range of packaging solutions it offers. The presentation also focused on the working mechanism of their advanced packaging machines, which are used in various industries.
After the presentation, the group was led on a tour of the company's various facilities. The students visited the Manufacturing Unit, where they observed the actual production process of packaging machines. They gained first-hand experience of the operational environment, witnessing the assembly line and machine fabrication processes. The next stop was the Inventory Unit, where students learned about the management and organization of raw materials, parts, and components essential for the production of packaging machines. They had the opportunity to see how inventory is managed effectively to ensure smooth production flow.
The final stop was the Finished Goods Inventory Unit, where students were able to observe the storage and handling of the completed products before they are shipped out to clients. This visit allowed the students to understand the importance of efficient inventory management and its role in maintaining the supply chain.
