Session on Problem Solving and Ideation Workshop
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at G L Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida, organized a "Session on Problem Solving and Ideation Workshop" on 01th September 2024 from 11:30 AM to 01:45 PM in online mode The session started with an introductory session by Mr. Aman Dubey with the students is currently working as a Senior Engineer, R&D in UNO MINDA. The Seesion on Problem Solving and Ideation Workshop was held to enhance participants' skills in tackling complex problems and fostering creative solutions. The session began with an introduction to the workshop's objectives, followed by an engaging icebreaker activity to stimulate creative thinking. Participants then worked on defining the core problem and conducted a stakeholder analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding. The workshop employed various problem-solving techniques, including Root Cause Analysis and SWOT Analysis, to identify underlying issues and opportunities. Ideation was driven using brainstorming, mind mapping, and the SCAMPER method, generating a wide array of innovative ideas. Feedback from participants highlighted the effectiveness of the interactive approach and the practical application of techniques, though some suggested extending brainstorming sessions and incorporating more real-world case studies. Overall, the workshop successfully met its objectives by creating a collaborative environment for problem-solving and ideation, resulting in actionable solutions and strategies.
