35th Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts

The event on Quality Circle Forum of India – Delhi Chapter in association with GL Bajaj Institute of Technology, Greater Noida organized its 35th Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts on 19th October 2024 at GL Bajaj Institute, Gr. Noida
This convention was inaugurated by Mr Aseem Vohra, CEO, Minda Corporation as the Chief Guest by lighting lamp alongwith Mr Khatri and Mrs Khatri of GL Bajaj Institute QCFI Regional Director Mr Avinash Upadhyay. Mr Vohra congratulated QCFI – Delhi Chapter for spreading the need of Quality Concepts in all the sectors across NCR.
Mr A K Verma, Hon. Secretary during his welcome address said that our chapter is committed to reaching all kinds of organizations in the manufacturing and service sector. Mr G Venkataramanan, Chairman QCFI Delhi Chapter is especially concerned about sharing the best practices, like structured problem solving and TQM, with the students from the interior parts of the country so that we achieve much greater heights of operational excellence. And this will help the Skill India mission to not only achieve but surpass the fulfilment of goals. During last few years QCFI organized all conventions on TQM, Kaizen, Quality Circles and Five S etc in Engineering Colleges and University. Guest of Honour Mr Avinash Upadhyay, appreciated commitment of QCFI Delhi Chapter for spreading the various Quality Concepts to all kind of industries in Northern India. He said in I personally congratulate Delhi Chapter for nominating maximum number of quality teams in NCQC.
In this convention more than 1000 participants of 230 teams from various organizations such as GAIL, Bharat Electronics, Spark Minda, Hero MotoCorp, NTPC, JCB, Tata Power, Gabriel India, Mahle, Lumax Auto, Aisin Automotive etc. presented their success stories.
In Valedictory Session Chief Guest Mr Vinod Kaul, AVP Group Operations, Minda Corporation emphasized on the need of Building Quality Culture to face the present global challenges. Mr Biswas ED GAIL Noida appreciated the commitment of QCFI for development of Employees. Mr. Aniruddha Kaushik Chief Judge congratulated all the teams and management of participating organisations for providing their employees a stage to share their success stories. He also shared opportunities for improvements in their next projects based on comments of team of jury members of Pre- evaluation and case study presentations. With the help of QCFI Governing Council member Mr Ganesh Upadhyay first time total evaluation was digitalised. Case study presentations were evaluated by 36 Jury members from various organisations. In spite of a holiday students played an active role in the smooth conduct of the convention. The teams were duly felicitated. Credit of success in organizing and coordination goes to Mr Rohit Sahu of GL Bajaj Institute along with QCFI Delhi Chapter.
